I received the B.Eng. degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute (UPIITA-IPN) in 2014, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, both in Automatic Control from the Automatic Control Department at the CINVESTAV-IPN in 2016 and 2020, respectively. I am currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Cranfield University, and a former UK IC Postdoctoral Research Fellow. I am a member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, associate editor of the IEEE TNNLS, and Early Career Advisory Board (ECAB) member of the Control Engineering Practice). I am also a member of the EPSRC Review College. My main research of interest focuses on robotics, mechanisms, machine learning, reinforcement learning, nonlinear control, system modeling and system identification.
